HBC was formed in March 2003 at the instigation of Halesworth Connections. Its purpose is to facilitate formal and informal meeting opportunities for businesses, not-for-profit organisations and retired business people in and around Halesworth, to share information on developments relevant to local businesses and to foster mutually useful links with local and regional authorities. We currently have 91 paid up members. For details see the Members' Section With the exception of August we meet each month. We are also active on the last Wednesday of every month, alternating through the year between either a Business Breakfast or an Evening Event. Business Breakfasts are primarily held at the Angel Hotel 7:30am - 8:50am and include a speaker. Evening Events usually commence at 7:30pm and are enjoyable social outings of interest. For full details of our events programme see our Events Section We are pleased to maintain good relations with the Town, District and County Councils. We are frequently asked for our opinions and to co-operate on various projects. We have a regular slot in all council meetings and are represented on various Town bodies. Annual subscriptions run from 1st April to 31st March each year and are currently £25 for businesses and £12 for "not for profit" organisations and retired members. Our AGM is held in April. If you would like to join Halesworth Business Connections please download our Membership Application Form, print it off and complete it and then send it with a cheque for the correct amount to our Treasurer. Halesworth Business Connections is run by the Executive Committee who meet monthly. These meetings are open to any HBC member who woud like to attend but please do let the Chairman know if you would like to come and he will advise you of the time and place.
